Steam - My First Online Friend

Hello Peter. This hidden shrine is dedicated to you, my first online friend sometime shortly after March 2007. The actual date is lost to time unfortunately, thanks Steam... We bonded over a Half-Life 2 Deathmatch co-op server with a map named PLACEHOLDER because a griefer was using a turret to kill players instead of NPCs, and so we figured out how to get the NPCs to focus on the griefer to get the them killed so that we could continue the map in peace. Later, we reached out to eachother to both become our first Steam friends. Did you know that we created our Steam accounts 9 days apart? Together we:

• Kicked ass in Counter Strike: Source
• Got our asses kicked in Terraria
• Minged in Garry's Mod 9 all the way to 13, making all sorts of fun contraptions
• Flew as a crew in Star Wars: Galaxies (and hopefully again if Star Citizen ever comes out)
• Built so many bases in Minecraft
• Conspired to murder Josh, Eric, and River in the Guild 2
• Conquered the island in Operation Flashpoint all the way through ArmA 3
• Sent a crippled bear to space in Rimworld
• Beat Dark Souls all the way even through adjacent games like Bloodbourne and Elden Ring
• Left The Forest, then came back again with Sons of the Forest to fight DEMONS
• Died in Ark: Survival Evolved (then again in Ascended)
• Left our bracelets in Conan Exiles
• Slayed the final final boss of Monster Hunter: World
• Killed God in EDF 5 AND 6 (Or was it 8? 9?)
• Painted the map in Total War: Warhammer 1 through 3

We got to meet up on the weekend of November 21-22nd 2015. I finally got to hug my best friend after all those years. Here's to {{years}} years, and many more to come. You're my best friend, Peter. Love you bro.
